Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital NeuroSurgery department conducted a "Name our Robot" contest to name their NEW Excelsius GPS Robot. ExcelsiusGPS™ is the first and only robotic navigation platform on the market that offers a comprehensive approach to spine and cranial procedures. This robot enables repeatable and accurate trajectory alignment and navigation for placing screws, interbody implants, and cranial instruments. In honor of this new Robot, the surgical team wanted to have local children submit names for their newest surgical team member. Over the last month, students from the tri-county area colored and submitted their nomination. Patients were then tasked with voting on their favorite name. Our very own 4th grade student, Gabby Joshua, was named the winner!! Her nomination of "Rosie the Robot" was selected. Gabby was honored with a beautiful gift bag, filled with goodies donated by the Pink Corner, code Lavendar, the surgical team and Cracker Barrel of Vero Beach.

🇺🇸❤️🤍💙 Today, the Rosewood Magnet School family paused to honor and remember the lives lost and forever changed on September 11, 2001. At 8:46 a.m., students and staff observed a moment of silence in remembrance. Our Bella Voce Women's Choir beautifully performed the National Anthem during morning announcements, and students and staff proudly wore red, white, and blue to show their patriotism and unity. 🏐 What a way to start the season! The volleyball team won the first set 25-23 and battled hard in every point of the match. Although the final result didn't go our way, the girls played amazingly and represented Rosewood with pride, heart, and determination. 🐠💙 Learning about leadership in action! Earlier today, students from Ms. Stone's and Ms. Woodson's classes took part in a School Leader Scavenger Hunt. Armed with checklists, they visited leaders throughout the school, learned about their responsibilities, and thanked them for their hard work. One special stop included Deputy Ragley, who showed Kalvin how he helps keep our school safe each day. Thank you to all of our school leaders for making Rosewood a great place to learn and grow!

⚖️🧪 Density Detectives at Work! Ms. Martinelli's 8th grade scientists are diving into the world of density, conducting investigations and making observations to better understand the properties of matter. Learning comes alive through inquiry and experimentation!
