🎨✨ Creativity was in full swing in Ms. Brady’s art class! For a fun icebreaker, students randomly selected three different drawing prompts and had to combine them into one unique creation. 🖍️🎨 This activity gave our Stingrays the freedom to make their own creative choices, explore art supplies, and have some fun while getting those artistic juices flowing! What a great way to kick off a year of creativity! 💙💚🌊 #RaysUp #ExcellenceInEveryRay #StingrayArtists

💙💚 Stingrays Supporting Stingrays! 💚💙 One of our amazing peer mentors in Ms. Reeves’ class spent some time reading with a kindergarten student yesterday! 📚✨ There’s something pretty special about watching our older students step into leadership roles and build connections with our youngest Stingrays. Moments like these are exactly what becoming a K–8 school family is all about! 🥹💙 #StingraysSupportingStingrays #PeerMentors #StudentLeadership #RaysUp #ExcellenceInEveryRay

🛟 Survival Tips from the Experts! 🛟 Students in Ms. Carter’s class are starting the year with a little help from those who came before them! They checked out posters created by last year’s students—complete with advice, tips, and words of wisdom from the official survivors themselves. 😂 There’s nothing quite like getting the inside scoop from students who have been there, done that, and lived to tell the tale! 💙💚 #RaysUp #ExcellenceInEveryRay #StudentVoice #BackToSchool #TheSchoolWhereItHappens

Thank you for your patience, grace, and partnership as we welcomed students for the first day of school. We recognize that arrival and dismissal lines were longer than expected today, and we understand the impact that has on your family’s time and morning and afternoon schedules. Our team met this afternoon to reflect on the day, make adjustments, and prepare for a smoother Day 2. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation as we continue learning the traffic flow together. For morning arrival, vehicles may enter the car loop from either the marquee entrance or the entrance near the baseball fields. Using both entrances will help keep traffic moving in both directions. We will welcome students beginning at 7:20 a.m. to support families with other students and morning commitments. For afternoon dismissal, families of K-1-2-VE students who do not have siblings in grades 3-8 should enter from 62nd Avenue near the baseball fields. This traffic pattern supports the earlier dismissal of our youngest students. Families with students in grades 3-8 should enter the car loop at the marquee entrance. We are grateful for your understanding as we work through these first days together. Thank you for trusting us with your children and for helping us make Rosewood a safe, welcoming place for every student.

✨ Putting the finishing touches on an incredible week of pre-service professional learning as we prepare to welcome our Stingrays back to campus on Monday! One of the things that makes our school so special is the incredible leadership that exists throughout our building. This week, our own amazing leaders stepped up to lead professional learning, share their expertise, and help prepare our entire team for a successful year ahead. 💙💚 At Rosewood, we truly embrace an all-hands-on-deck mentality. Everyone has something to contribute, everyone plays a part, and when there’s work to be done, our Stingrays show up for one another and get it done—together. Our staff has spent the week learning, collaborating, planning, and preparing to make 2026–27 an extraordinary year for our students. The classrooms are ready, the halls are ready, and most importantly—our team is ready! We’ve had our shot to prepare… now it’s time for the school where it happens to come alive! ⭐️🌊 RAYS UP, Stingrays! Monday, here we come! 💙💚
